Good morning everyone! It’s still cold here, hopefully it will warm up soon! The girls are back to school after two days off due to the weather, they were getting a little too used to staying at home! Gracie is still asleep, she was up late last night! She took her nap too late in the day, learned my lesson there, LOL! So, I just had a white chocholate mocha, which was great on this cold morning, and now I’m trying to decide what to do first today. I have to get things ready for the road, and finish up cleaning the house, I’m almost done! Yay! I hope that you all have a great day. Below is one of my favorite scriptures, it’s actually a prayer that I try to pray often! The beginning of a close relationship with God, I believe, is a clean heart! Until next time…………

Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, preserving, and steadfast spirit within me!

Hello everyone! Whew, it’s been a busy week or two for us! Lots of things going on, working and raising children! We got home yesterday from being in Illinois and Arkansas, where it was soooo very cold! It’s cold at home too though, so it’s nothing new! LOL ! Spring is sounding so good right now!  Sunshine, flowers blooming, going outside without a coat on, all of that sounds so good!  The girls are out of school today due to the weather, apparently we had ice mixed in with rain last night.  I think we were all pretty excited to get a little extra sleep this morning! The upside to winter, I guess, snow days, or ice days in this case!  So we are still in pajamas, I’m working around the house, and trying to decide what to fix for dinner tonight! I have a whole young chicken that is thawing right now, but I’m not sure what to do with it after it thaws! LOL  I’m sure I will figure it out, so maybe chicken and dumplings, not sure yet!

I hope it’s a great day for you, maybe your weather is better than ours! Until next time…..

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Hey, everyone! It’s about an hour before church, so I thought I would take a minute and write. We are in Asheville, North Carolina. It’s been such a good weekend, we have been blessed to be in some wonderful services! I love it when people see their prayers answered! We have heard some incredible testimonies this past week, from people of how God came through for them! It is so encouraging! I was talking to a sweet lady the other night, and I told her that as long as we can remember that we are not forgotten then we can make it. The truth is, there have been times I felt forgotten. I prayed, but the answer had not come, my heart was still broken, my body still in pain, my mountain still high, and not sure if I had the strength to climb it. But, I have found the moment that I start reminding myself of what God has promised, I hold my head up and keep pressing forward! He said He would be an ever present help in time of trouble, we are told that His strength is made perfect in our weekness! Even if you believe that you are forgotten you aren’t. Hebrews 13:6 says So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me? I hope that you remember this today, and know that God knows where you are, He sees, and He cares!

Until next time……

Hey everyone, I hope that you had a good Monday! We have had a busy day, as most Mondays tend to be. Hope had choir right after school, so that took up quite a bit of our afternoon. By the time we got home, did homework, and had supper, it was bath time, and then bedtime!  The girls are loving school this week because it’s spirit week at their school. They get to wear pajamas tomorrow instead of their uniform, which is a pretty big deal to them! Ahh, to be a child again, the little things make them so happy!

Well, I will go for now! Until next time….

Acts 4:12

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved.

Hey,  everyone! I am really trying to get back to my blog as I mentioned yesterday. This week is really flying by, I can’t believe Thursday is already almost gone. It’s crazy. The girls got their report cards this week, and I am so proud of both of them. With our schedule, it makes me so happy that they are doing so well!  I cracked up last time they got their report cards, I told Hope that she did well, and that she almost had straight A’s, when Katelanne heard that, she asked me if her A’s were straight or crooked?  It was so funny, but I had to be careful not to laugh, because she was being very serious.

Well, Mike just asked me if we  would like to go out for dinner tonight, he’s been very busy all week, and thought that a family night out would be fun, so I need to get ready. I can’t remember the last time we all got to go on a family night out. I am looking forward to it. I hope you all are having a great day! Until next time…..

Psalm 28:7

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song.

Hey everyone! I can’t believe how I’ve neglected my blog! I just realized I haven’t written since Christmas Eve. I don’t know what’s wrong with me! LOL  My New Year’s resolution can be to be a better blogger!    I hope that 2009 has gotten off to a great start for you all! No complaints here, we are always on the go, but that is normal for us. The girls have started back to school this week, so that is always fun trying to get back in the routine of it all. We are about to get there. Hope and Katelanne had to go to the dentist this morning, what a treat! Hope is a pro, but Katelanne was not prepared I guess. It was the first time she’s ever had anything other than cleaning done, and she was not very happy, and that is a huge understatement! I tried to coax her into calming down, but it was quite a job. Katelanne was crying, and Hope was on the verge of crying because she was worried about Katelanne. It was sweet to see Hope be so protective, and to see her “big sister” instinct kick in.  Anyway, we are finished now, and all is well!  I told her she would do better next time, and she let me know,  that I shouldn’t be so sure of that! LOL At least she’s honest, right? We are so excited,  to have found out recently that “Your Cries Have  Awoken the Master” was the #1 song of the year according the The Singing News Chart.  This is so neat to us, really an honor!  We have heard such awesome testimonies about how this song has encouraged people! That is of course the ultimate reward, when someone is encouraged in their faith in God through a song!   I would like to say “Congrats” to Sonya and Becky of The Isaacs who wrote the song!  What a  great job they did! I am so thankful that they chose to share it with us! Well, I should go for now, Gracie is getting irritable! Until next time…. Kelly John 14:1Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.
