Hey everyone! I have missed my blog! Finally, I just made myself sit down and write, and forget for a few moments that there are five baskets of clothes that need put away, three beds that need to be made, and floors that need vacuumed! I decided it will all still be there after I blog.
So, as many of you already know, we have been in the studio working on a new CD called “Shine.” I must admit, I am more excited than I have been in a long time about this CD! It’s the first time back in the studio in almost two years, and we were so ready for some fresh material. Having Terah in the studio, has it made even that much more fun! Mike is a pro at picking songs, and he found so many good ones this time around! I love all of the messages! From songs about God leading us, to “story” songs about a minister praying for God’s guidance and what to tell his congregation that is hurting! We are thrilled with what was sent our way! These are the kinds of songs that remind me why I fell in love with singing in church as a young girl. I can remember singing along with my family in my early teens, that’s when I first realized how the lyrics of songs have the ability to encourage people, or remind them of God’s goodness! It is amazing how a song can speak so clearly into a person’s life! I believe that sometimes we just need to be reminded! Reminded that we are loved, reminded that we are strong, reminded that we are being prayed for , reminded that we matter to God, and that He is always there, no matter what! When are reminded of that, and believe it, it is then that victory finds us, and it is then, that we really do start to “shine.” I hope that you find the time in the busyness of this day to remind yourself, through a song, through a prayer, however, and then “shine” the love that only He can give! Someone around you needs you to “shine.” Until next time………

Isaiah 42:16
I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.
