So moving right along on this getting healthy journey, everything is going pretty well. I have been eating right and trying to workout best as I can. I went walking/jogging yesterday and felt pretty good! I want to join a gym but they cost so much money:( I found one that is $50 a year and I was very happy about that, so I went to join and then found out I had to wait a week to go to an orientation first. I’m making do for this week to see if I can join next week! Wish I had my own gym!LOL! Anyway hope everybody is doing well! Haven’t heard from many in a few days, praying you’re doing well! A lady named Karen found a great site to look for recipes called www.hungrygirl.com and there is a book on there that said 200 recipes for 200 cals. I cant wait to get it at Target today! Exercise is something I hate. Actually did not impliment it at all last year. But have started this year walking. The weather in Ohio has not been the best so my sister and I go to my church, play gospel music CD’s, walk the sanctuary before we know it 40 minutes has passed. Funny 1st few times we even played a little game of tag. One thing I learned is at least move. Do more house work, yard work, clean a closet, play Wii, dance to gospel music. I like to play Wii and when it’s not my turn I have gospel music playing and dance. Everyone in my house thinks it’s a little strange but I’m moving. Keep me in your prayers please as I am trying to break the late night binges after a full 2nd shift of nursing. It has become my way to eat myself into a state of rest. It’s not helping any of my good efforts I do all day. I started last night a liquid “fast” after work because that’s when I want to binge. So not one bite of food but all the liquids I want. Praying for all of us. Glad I found another way to find support and ideas. It’s a journey and I need company.
HEY THERE. MY HUSBAND AND I STARTED WALKING ON MONDAY.,I DIDN’T EXPECT TO WALK AS WELL AS I DID AND I LEFT MY POOR HUSBAND IN THE DUST AND HAD TO KEEP STOPPING FOR HIM TO CATCH UP. WE FOUND OUT THE TRACK BY OUR HOUSE IS 2 MILES. I’VE BEEN WALAKING THE 2 MILES A DAY. MY GOAL IS TO WALK 4 MILES AND TO WALK A 5K THIS YEAR. WE HAVEN’T WEIGHTED IN YET SINCE THIS IS WEEK ONE. WILL DO THAT ON MONDAY. THANKS FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT. YOU GUYS ARE IN OUR PRAYERS TOO.
I just sent you all a really good chicken enchilada low fat/cal recipe to the terahandkelly email. It’s really good, I change it up a little, just go by taste. Enjoy….
