More of Him, Less of me……May 4th
May 4th, 2010 by KellyB

I am sorry for not blogging recently! We have been soooo busy! :0) There have been a whole lot of things going on, that’s for sure! Please continue to pray for this area. The flooding has been unlike anything that I have ever seen! It’s so devastating, we have been blessed to not have damage, but we are praying for those who have, and especially those who lost loved ones. Our hearts and prayers go out to them.

It’s hard to blog and not mention the flood, and after doing so everything else seems so silly. However, all is well on our “Less of Me, More of Him journey. Another pound was gone Monday. I am thankful for that. I pray that all of you are well! We are making a “live video” Thursday, and appreciate your prayers. Until next time……

Kelly

This is actually Kathy, not Terah. I want to report to all of you that the girls are hanging in there and making this thing work! I am proud of their effort. They took control of their lives. These changes are only brought about by discipline and “female” determination! To possess the strength to succeed is a blessing from the Lord. How many times do we start and fall, start and fall….but then there is that one certain day…sometimes the “snap” in our spirit is triggered by a thoughtless comment, an encouraging chat, or maybe a simplistic promise of a trip to Disney World. But, whatever it takes, and whatever it is…thank you JESUS for those defining moments when we look at ourselves with honesty. The kind of honesty that we can easily muster for all around us, but rarely heap on ourselves.

    I pray:

Lord, help me to be honest with myself about my health and my responsibility to you to take care of this one body you gave me. Help me to make better food choices on days when the stress is high and time is limited. Help me understand that good health is not automatic or a gift to us because we love You….my health is my responsibility!
Lord, I love my family and I want to see my great grandchildren graduate from college! Therefore, I need to live to be 104. Help me turn this ship around.

I had the opportunity to hear your concert in London,Ky I also got a chance to meet all of you in a pre-show meet and greet. You are a fantastic group and it is evident that God’s spirit is working through all of you whether you are on the stage or just meeting your fans. This is the first time I have had the pleasure of going to one of your concerts but you have quickly made me a fan. God bless and keep up the good work.

Thats cool you all are getting into shape b/c I started climbing 9 flights of stairs at work a couple of weeks ago and I can already tell a difference in how I feel. Its amazing how much better you feel after you exercise. It helps when you sing too. Keep it up. I need accountibility partners.
