Thankful for progress!
May 25th, 2010 by KellyB

So this week I have a new accomplishment! I can now do the elliptical for one hour! Woo Hoo!!! I’m not saying it doesn’t make me want to cry, (LOL)and that I don’t have to push through the last twenty minutes or so, but I can do it! I was inspired by Terah, who told me on Saturday that she did it for an hour!!!!!!!!! My longest time was maybe forty-five minutes or so. And although, Terah and I are not competitive at all, I felt I had to step it up! LOL I can’t be left too far in the dust. :) So, I stepped it up, and I am sore, but I feel so very good. It was time to step it up! I can remember when we first started this little journey, I could barely do twenty minutes, so that is progress!
Let us never underestimate how good a little progress can feel! I’m so thankful for all of your words of encouragement, and your prayers!!!!! It has meant so much to us! Blessings to you all!!!!!! Also very proud of Terah for being inspiring this week!!!

Love,
Kelly

I can totally relate as I am on own personal journey. One day I had this bright idea that I should start dong sit-ups; so I did around 15..dont laugh there is a lot to make ’sit-up.’(wink)I was sore for days, it even hurt to laugh! How sad is that? I pledged to myself, before I turn 50 this next year, I am going to be at a healthy weight. It’s a slow process but the numbers are going down. YEAH!
Keep up the hard work, I hope to be at the National Quartet Convention in September. Please stop by the Blackwood Brothers table, I would love to get to speak with you both. Just look for the lady with the big blonde hairstyle and cute shoes…..that will be me. See ‘less of you and me then.”
