Day 2 blogging:)

Hey everybody! What a day we have had! Kelly and I are out of town this week in Orlando,Fl for TBN taping. I am so thankful that this hotel has a great gym, and things to eat that are healthy, so we are able to stay on target. Thank you for all of your comments. If you have started this journey with us, we would love for you to keep us informed of your progress so that we can rejoice with you! Many of you have shared that you fight this battle like us, I just want to tell you that if I take these steps towards a healthier lifestyle than anyone can. If you feel like there’s no hope for you, I can relate because just a few months ago I felt the same way. Just remember, “with God all things are possible.” With His help we’ll do this together, and give Him the glory!

    Hi Terah,
    First of all I want to thank you for the invitation to join you on your journey. I started this past Monday. According to the scales I have lost 3 lbs. :) I have a long way to go but feel that my efforts are paying off. Thanks for the encouragement and I also hope to be an encouragement to you and Kelly. I am reading Proverbs daily to help me along. It’s a perfect book to read through every month. With 31 chapters there is always a chapter to read every day and it never gets old because there is so much wisdom in it. Thanks again~ Rita

    I just wanted to tell you and Kelly that I have also joined this weight loss journey. I began about 3 weeks ago. I was motivated to read that the two of you are too! That will help keep me enouraged. I have lost about 6 pounds so far. Keep up the great work!

    My thought for the day. ” What it lies in our power to do, it lies in our power not to do.” ARISTOTLE.. I have found that Cinnamon helps curb your cravings for sugar. I buy the pill form of Cinnamon and take them daily. If I have a bad day, I don’t stress and give up, the next day I make sure I eat healthy and exercise..I wish I had started the healthy eating when my kids were small, you both are definately on the right track with your families !!
    I think this is a struggle for most families these days , everyone is busy and eat on the run , it is ususally fast food and not healthy. Thanks for including us, I love the encouragement !!

    Isn’t it funny how EASY it is to make yourself go to the treadmill in a hotel, but when you’re home, it’s SO hard? I love working out on the road!

    I weighed in at 228.5 pounds on Wednesday. I didn’t find this until today Friday(03/26/10). I really need to lose weight because I feel horrible and I have two little ones to take care of. Please can I join you? I really need to stop the fast food stuff and I need to learn discipline with regard to food (and everything else for that matter).
